Awakened Blood Manipulation in Jujutsu Zero: Full Unlock Path
What It Is
Awakened Blood Manipulation is the awakening added in the Blood V2 update — a burst-heavy kit whose five skills all revolve around blood projectiles and zones. Unlike most awakenings, its questline unlock is guaranteed, so you can skip banner luck entirely.
Two Ways to Unlock
1. The Death Painting Brothers questline (guaranteed). A one-time chain, fought in order:
- Eso — defeat him, fetch 1 Death Painting.
- Kechizu — defeat him, fetch 1 Death Painting.
- Choso — defeat him, fetch 1 Death Painting.
- Yuji (final training) — the last fight, then complete the exchange quest to unlock the awakening.
2. The banner. Summons cost 175 Cursed Crystals, with the pity introduced in the same patch: Grade 1 at 5, Special Grade at 15, Disaster Grade at 100 pulls.
The Progression Tree
The awakening ships with a three-path mastery tree, and the rule matters: you can only invest in one path — the other two lock out. Fully maxing your chosen path is required to complete the awakening quest, so treat the tree as part of the unlock, not an optional extra.
Clan Synergies
Extra bonuses on top of base clan stats when Awakened Blood Manipulation is your equipped technique:

Kamo is the standout of the base synergies; the Disaster-grade Noritoshi added in the same update is the endgame target. Check the Clan Tier List before spending rolls.
The Kit
- Vessel Break — a frontal knockout with a huge damage range.
- Bloody Beatdown — dash into a hit series.
- Piercing Bloodstorm — knockback plus damage to everything in front.
- Scarlet Hail — blood orbs raining on targets.
- Crimson Rain — a damage zone, the biggest total-damage skill in the kit.
Gearing It Up
The Blood Trail accessory (Disaster grade) was built for this awakening: +25 ABM technique amp, +100% Cursed Energy, +100% HP. Recipe: 1 Scarlet Flower, 3 Cursed Essence, 3 Leather, 1 Catalyst.
